Entrust your burdens to God
At The North American English Rite Catholic Church, we believe in the power of prayer. We offer a compassionate and accessible way for you to share your prayer requests with us, knowing that you are held in the loving embrace of our community. Share your needs, find comfort, and experience the grace of God through intercession.

Why offer online prayer requests?
Offering a way for people to submit prayer requests online creates a space where individuals can reach out in moments of need, even when they may feel isolated, hesitant, or unable to speak face-to-face. It extends the pastoral heart of The North American English Rite Catholic Church beyond physical walls, allowing anyone—at any time—to seek spiritual support, intercession, and comfort.
The main goal of this page is to provide a safe, compassionate, and accessible avenue for people to entrust their burdens to God through the prayers of the Church. It serves as both a ministry of presence and intercession—reminding individuals that they are not alone, that their struggles are seen, and that the Church is actively praying with and for them. Ultimately, the purpose is to foster hope, deepen faith, and connect people more intimately to God’s grace through the power of prayer.

What to pray for
We welcome prayer requests for a wide range of intentions, including but not limited to:
- Healing (physical, emotional, spiritual)
- Guidance and discernment
- Comfort in times of grief or sorrow
- Strength during trials and challenges
- Thanksgiving for blessings received
- Intercession for others (family, friends, community)
- Peace and reconciliation
- Spiritual growth and deepening faith
While we encourage you to share any need close to your heart, we ask that all requests be respectful and align with Christian principles. Please avoid submitting requests that are harmful, malicious, or inappropriate. We uphold confidentiality and pastoral care in all submitted requests.

After you submit a request
Once someone submits a prayer request, it is received with care and reverence as a sacred trust. The request is typically reviewed by a designated member of the clergy or a trusted prayer team to ensure it is handled pastorally and, when necessary, kept confidential.
From there, the intention is brought before God in several meaningful ways. First, it is included in the private prayers of the clergy and intercessors, who regularly lift up these needs in their daily devotions. Second, appropriate requests may be incorporated into the Prayers of the Faithful during the Mass or other liturgical services, either by name (if permission is given) or in a general form. In some cases, they may also be remembered during special devotions such as intercessory prayer gatherings, Eucharistic adoration, or the Daily Office.
